Many transporters hesitate to deal with branded organizations because of issues such as delays in payments or long delays in loading and unloading.
Hence, to strengthen transportation function, companies should start setting organization goal on basis of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and should use technology based systems and processes. By adopting this approach, companies will start to see reduction in total cost while increase in sales and reputational enhancements.
